SPECIALTY NATURAL RUBBER LATEX FOAM: FOAMABILITY STUDY AND FABRICATION PROCESS

چکیده
ABSTRACT Specialty natural rubber (SpNR) latex, namely, deproteinized (DPNR) latex and epoxidized (ENR) has been produced to meet specific product's requirements. However, SpNR is normally used in the form of block manufacture dry products such as tires automotive parts. The applications into foam will be diversified. Findings indicate that foamability lower compared normal (LATZ) but shows longer stability time after foamed. also collapse coagulate are two main challenges fabrication process foam. Despite these challenges, can fabricated at different density levels. During foaming process, additional agent required fabricate a foam, which from fabricating NR especially low density. Consequently, higher level sodium silicofluoride, gelling agent, set cell structure influenced volume shrinkage An ideal compounding, foaming, formulation via Dunlop batch developed. Morphological study showed all foams open-cell structure, with exhibiting porosity mean pore size. Comparison on hysteresis behavior between DPNR ENR indicated exhibits loss ratio

I n the past 10 years, IgE-mediated allergy to natural rubber latex has become a significant health problem in industrialized countries, especially among health care workers, patients with congenital malformations, and children with a history of multiple surgical interventions. Curative treatment inducing immunological tolerance in formerly sensitized patients is experimental and not yet genera...

Immediate hypersensitivity to natural rubber latex (NRL) has become increasingly common during the last 20 years. It is currently one of the most frequently encountered occupational diseases among the healthcare workers and a problem even in other occupations where protective gloves are used. Several groups at high risk for developing NRL allergy have been defined, including healthcare workers ...

IgE-mediated sensitization in protein allergens of natural rubber latex (NRL) can induce immediate hypersensitivity reactions ranging from mild urticaria in life threatening anaphylaxis after cutaneous, mucosal or visceral exposure. Elutable allergens from NRL gloves absorb to the cornstarch powder particles, become airborne, and have the potential to cause respiratory reactions. Recent studies...
